It's a historic month in the world of Japanese spirits. The Kyoto Distillery, founded in 2015, has just released its very first product titled KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin. The name KI NO BI (季の美) translates to "The beauty of the seasons." It's a fitting name for Kyoto's first artisan gin. Kyoto, Japan's ancient capital, is renowned for its natural beauty, cultural traditions, and a long history of artisan crafts such as pottery, kimono fabric, and the brewing of sake.

From our first tasting we can tell you this craft gin has an incredible aroma that can't be matched by mass-produced brands. It's a wonderfully smooth gin and makes a beautiful gin & tonic. You can sample KI NO BI today at some of Kyoto's beautiful local pubs.

Attention Whisky Collectors,

We just had an unbelievable find when checking our warehouse inventory -- a lost and forgotten bottle of Yamazaki Sherry Cask!

The whisky world was turned upside down when the Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2013 was named "World Whisky of the Year" in Jim Murray's Whiskey Bible 2015. Murray described the whisky as "near indescribable genius" and commented "If anyone wants to find out roughly what the first Macallan-10-year-old I had in 1975 tasted like, then grab a bottle of this." He scored the bottle 97.5/100.

We're selling the Yamazaki Sherry Cask in Kyoto for ¥500,000. This bottle can be purchased duty-free.
