Greetings Whisky Lovers,
We have put together a list of the Japanese whisky we currently have on the shelf at Liquor Burn Gion in Kyoto, Japan. We hope that we have the bottle you are looking for! *Please note that the huge increase in demand from around the world for Suntory whisky, such as Yamazaki, has created a shortage of domestic stock in Japan. We can not restock our shelves as quickly as we would like. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. We value your business very highly. Suntory Whisky

Have a wonderful day in beautiful Kyoto! Liquor Burn Gion
Dear Customers,
We would like to thank all of you who have visited our store this summer despite the rainy season and the heat. We have enjoyed providing you with a respite from the weather and fine products. Ever since Jim Murray awarded Suntory's Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013 the title of World's Best Whisky in his 2015 World Whisky Bible the demand for Suntory's premium whiskies has skyrocketed. As a result it has been difficult for us to keep it on the shelf. The result has been the same for every shelf across Japan! *Please note that the award-winning Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2013 is sold out across Japan.* In response to this sudden increase in demand Suntory has released a non-vintage bottling of its Yamazaki Single Malt, Hakushu Single Malt, and Hibiki Japanese Harmony (their premium blended whisky). We will continue to do our best to keep all of Suntory's delicious whiskies on the shelf for you. We sincerely apologize if we are out of stock of a particular bottle when you visit us. For a chance to taste all of Suntory's premium whiskies we recommend visiting some beautiful local pubs in Kyoto. You can also schedule a tour of Suntory's Yamazaki Distillery located right outside of Kyoto City! They have an incredible whisky library on site. Please enjoy your visit to Kyoto and have a wonderful summer! Sincerely, Liquor Burn Gion PS Always remember the following: |
